Guest guest
hi everyone! this is me typing lefty. things are in slow motion here. steve trimmed close to a foot off my hair and it is still very long. i took a shower and washed my hair using my left hand with my soft cast in a plastic bag on it held high to keep it dry. i will get the hard cast put on wed after they set the broken metacarple bone. not much pain and have learned to eat with my left hand pretty well. steve is taking good care of me. i hope the novelty doesn't wear off as i will need the cast for about 8 weeks according to the ER dr. i have put my broken hand in god's hands, so i expect a good recovery. hard to put on my en compression stocking so going without it--will see how that goes. thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers. i can't tell you how very much it means to me.
