I’ve been scanning the emails for some time and I see that there is a lot of discussion regarding the NFB. I’ve had only 3 people ask me about the specifics of working with a chiropractor so I thought I would mention this again.I have been working with a chiropractor since last summer. I am having good results and have thoroughly tested out the results unintentionally by having to take a survival job. The chiropractic work together with anti-anxiety medicine has completely eliminated my fight or flight, has greatly reduced my noise sensitivity and as a bonus, helps me sleep much better which in turn of course helps with reducing the reactions. For those who can’t afford or do not have NFB in their area of residence, I would like to again, suggest that you look in to this. The work I am doing is very specific to the neck and head, this is not a spinal column adjustment. I firmly believe that this is a combination affliction of neurology/nerves and psychological. This is based on my personal results but without hearing from anyone else, I have no way of knowing if this is useful. Regarding the long threads, the moderator needs to turn off the option of including the message in replies, I don’t know who the moderators are but that is what needs to be done.

I did not know it was an option to turn off including the message in the reply.

I try to delete it manually to avoid those long strings.

I am so glad you are doing better. A combination of approaches often seems to

help the most. I note you are taking anti anxiety meds and that has been one

common thread amongst patients that I have interviewed, that often these meds

can help with the overall situation particularly with sleep issues.

One thing we have learned in the tinnitus world, lack of sleep makes everything

WORSE.

So it is important to live a very balanced and supported life, good sleep, good

diet, get out and exercise every day, and surround yourself with positive

experiences (what is FUN for you? go do that).
