Hi this is Donielle, the one who has managed the same bar forever. I know that I

have it a little easier than most because I have always controlled my

enviroment.

I have had migran headaches for about 25 years. I get really upset when someone

(often my best friend) has a bad headach and says that they have a migraine.

They say they have a migrine but the still smoke, laugh, move the same. Their

pupils are no4t constrickted because the light doesn't bother them

If people who are mearly annoyed by a noise and uses it to control people by

saying that they have Misophonia, we will all loose our creadability. I know a

lot of people are going to use Misophonia to keep people from annoying them. I

can handle being annoyed, but I get severe chest pain, problems breathing and

severe anger when I hear repetative sounds.

I know that this will be a great relife to almost all of you. However, I feel

that over time things will become worse for me. I know I'm thinking like a

selfish person, but there is ahuge difference between being annoyed and actualy

suffering. Just like a headache is manageable, but a migraine is devestating.

I don't think you can blanket statement anything. There are some noises that annoy me, some that enrage me, and some that paralize me because I struggle to cope. I also have migraines but they also very in severity. I have some that make me cry in the dark with ice on my head wanting to go to the ER for help and others where sound is what bothers them, others where only light bothers them and some that don't completely devestate me but do effect my day but I am able to cope. One of the many biggest hurtles we face now is that there are so many different levels and different ways people are impacted by this condition. What may seriously enrage one person may not effect another. I was so happy to find others living with the same responses to these issues and it wasn't just me being an intolerant bitch. (which I thought for a long time). :-)TammySent from my  iPad

Hi Donielle,I have had headaches before related to stress with associated chest pains, breathing problems and severe anger. I however have never had migraines. For almost 30 years I have been on a very intensive exercise regimen, mostly aerobic, which has saved my life. I almost never have headaches and I attribute it to the exercise. I can say that much of the stress has been reduced as well. I am a bit of an endorphine junkie, but it beats the alternative. I would strongly advise it for you. Join a gym, get some equipment, whatever it takes. I take long bike rides every day. And I live in sdale too. I emailed you ,but didn't get a response. Maybe you missed it. Write me at:

Hi mike. I got your email, but it was missimg your phone number;-) I would like

to get to gether for cofee sometime. We live pretty close to each other. Tuesday

and Wednesday evenings are best for me. I get a lot of relief from Imitrex. It

practicly saved my life. I think it is worth it's weight in gold. I do however,

get really upset when people say they have a migraine, yet their behavior does

not change. I fear people will excagerate with Misophonia. I have been up for 2

days, so I may be overly sensitive. Thanks

I understand. I had a former employee amologise to me. She read an article about

Misophonia and then saw that I mentioned it on my fb page. She said how sorry

she was. She didn't understand and thought that I wa just being a controlling

bitch. I am fortunate though. My staff and regular customers understand and

often expain to new people before I get the chance.

I also get migraines and you’re description of an actual migraine is correct.  It was taking over my life until I also discovered Imitrex – you’re right, it is life saving! Regarding chest pain, my son with misophonia feels sounds in his chest and sometimes feels like he has to pound on his chest to get the pain/feeling out.
