Guest guest
dear All does anyone have any ideas / experience for dealing with this.Ive had increasing problems with this over the last 6-7 months and there is quite a lot of tissue thickening in .my palm. At night after a couple of hours sleep my middle finger is virtually impossible to bend without intense pain and there is a permanent slight " bend " in the proximal interphalangeal joint affected finger very similar to what can occur in RA .the finger will go into full blown trigger mode if I bend my hand in certain ways and the strentgh in that hand is very much reduced now.As it is in my writing hand , and I teach part time , Im concerned that the daytime doesnt get as bad as the night. As I have Hashimotos ( according to blood tests but no real obvious sx )Im assuming this may be part of the connective tissue disorders that are common with any auto immune disease. I am taking a whole host of herbs and vitamins to help with the hashimotos but if any one knows of anything that may be helpful I would be very grateful. sometimes ( well mostly ) treating yourself is pretty hard . regards , annette
