Guest guest
Dear , I have tried it on my mum a couple(?) of years ago. There has been a transitory improvement in her general functioning for about 8-10 months, no a dramatic improvement. She is now on a different combination of herbs which do make a lot of difference to her ability to speak: she takes maca (from a health food shop - expensive), Uncaria tomentosa and a mix of Ginkgo, Epimedium, Siberian ginseng and another herb which I cannot remember. She's been taking this combination for 3 months now and for the first time in years reports consistently feeling very well. I hope it helps Subject: Mucuna pruriens To: ukherbal-list Date: Thursday, 27 November, 2008, 8:47 PM Has anyone here had any experience of using the above? I have an old patient, based in Stansted, Essex, who has contacted me regarding the above. He has Parkinson's Disease and has started taking Mucuna pruriens but would like ideally to talk to a herbalist who has some experience of using this, which I haven't. Is there anyone who might be able to help, either to offer him a consultation in the Stansted area or to email information that I could pass on to him? Many thanks.
