I guess somewhere in her mind's wiring frozen breaded chicken breasts is a fabulous christmas gift. (Note: we live in a major city; chicken >breasts are plentiful.) Anyway, my amazing H found some joy in it all by throwing the shipper's dry ice into the pool causing it to bubble and steam. Mad science is always a fitting tribute! Guest guest
I am new to this group and I always thought that I am the only one experiencing these feelings on a day to day basis. Up until yesterday, that is, when I read a magazine article that mentioned Misophonia and it fit me perfectly. It is pretty powerful to learn that I am not alone. Guest guest
thank god for the internet. I hate when people bite their fork when eating, I can actually feel it throughout my whole body. Guest guest
Oh yeah, I hate when people lick their fingers. I also hate fidgeting, and people who crack their knuckles or what my husband does cracks his toes. I really hate it and he says he can't . He also sits on the couch with his foot hanging over and wiggling it round in circles. He just tells me to close my eyes well how can I watch tv with that in the corner of my eye. He does stop doing it but it makes him mad. > > > Â Licking fingers....arghhhhhhhhhh and snorfulling instead of blowing noses > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Â > > > > > > > > > > > > > > thank god for the internet. Guest guest
You are not alone! I'm really surprised to find out how many people have been struggling with 4S for years, thinking no one else understood. Do you remember the name and issue of the magazine in which you read the article? To: "Soundsensitivity " <Soundsensitivity > Sent: Thursday, March 22, 2012 11:45 AM Subject: Hello! Guest guest
Hi! I am a nurse in a doctors office and the article is still at work. I think it is in Reader's Digest. The article was titled, " Are you nuts or normal? " I knew that i had these weird feelings which is what drew me to the article. I feel very fortunate to have stumbled onto this! ------------------------------ >You are not alone! Guest guest
Thanks for your welcoming words ! I just had to leave my own living room to get away from my boyfriends chewing and throat clearing. I have been with him ten years and this is the end of the rope. > > > > I am new to this group and I always thought that I am the only one experiencing these feelings on a day to day basis. Up until yesterday, that is, when I read a magazine article that mentioned Misophonia and it fit me perfectly. It is pretty powerful to learn that I am not alone. > > >
