Guest guest
I have a non-sound trigger which angers me as much as the KitKat commercial does; it's being kicked in the back of my chair when I'm sitting in a theatre or stadium. I just cannot believe that other people don't notice it happening to them. I would give anything to be less sensitive. I think that's it! Yes, I also feel an "outrage that people are so unguarded as to be intrusive." I also find myself spending lots of energy being low key so as to not annoy others. I expect the same in return, but it doesn't happen. The scary part of it is that some people have no idea that what they're doing is inappropriate, rude, annoying, infuriating, etc. It's all a matter of values and beliefs. Right now, as we speak, there is an ear-piercing yapping coming from the yard behind me. Why would anyone keep an animal that sounds like that? Isn't anyone else outraged? The answer is no. No one else around here even seems to be aware of it. And if they are, they think it's normal for dogs to bark, just like they think it's normal to air drum, jiggle their legs, tap their fingers, smack their lips etc. =
