I'm looking for source for Zizyphus spinosa (jujube), preferably US. I'd like

to make my own tincture. Any ideas? J Fidler, MCPP, (RH) AHGHerbalist

I have not used any hudzu yet, but I could. There is PLENTY not 100yards from

the house....

How much do you need?

And yes, I will be glad to trade.

HI

If you have no luck in the US I bought some from Rutland Biodynamics

and made my own tincture which turned out very nice indeed.

Great! What kind of percentage alcohol works best?

HI ,

i buy in 96% ethanol so I made a 40% tincture and it seemed fine, its a

very oily product.\I let the whole lot macerate for 2-3 days to allow

the seeds soften before blending it. I leave it for a couple of weeks

in total shaking regularly, then press.

Regards,

Ciara
