Guest guest
Hi there everyone Has anyone got a sure-fire Rx for perennial rhinitis? I had a stall at a large GP surgery's summer fair on Saturday and one of the GP's was v. interested in herbs and, as well as asking for lots of my leaflets to hand out, wants me to treat his wife for perennial rhinitis which has proved resistant to all conventional meds. There may be an opportunity for me to work more closely with this practice if I prove my worth when treating his wife, so I'm very keen to get it right quickly, and as I've never treated this problem before, I would be very grateful for your experiences. Thanks in anticipation of the usual helpful responses. bel
Guest guest
Hi , I wonder if cranial osteopathy might be a helpful treatment in addition to the herbs. > > Dear List > > I have a new patient (female aged 48) with constant rhinitis (drying > up only in warm summer weather). only symptom is a runny nose, > started aged about 12, which can get itchy. Guest guest
Hya, Think are on the right track in terms of the bigger picture;no dairy may make a big impact, pressure change headaches, eustation tube blocked, vertigo etc all surely linked to sinuses. Just in relation to that ( and possibly other symptoms), I have been mixing up marshmallow based herbal powder/E.O 'snuff' blends that might be helpful. You can use individual powders, but the blending is important as the powder particles are such different shapes - althea powder is cloying, plantago helps it travel etc. Herbal powders as snuff can be pleasant to take Have had good results with sinusitis, acute infections, and pressure headaches so far. Contact me off line if you want me to send you some to try. perennial rhinitis Dear List I have a new patient (female aged 48) with constant rhinitis (drying up only in warm summer weather). only symptom is a runny nose, started aged about 12, which can get itchy. Guest guest
Thank you and for replies. Also for your info off-line. Interested in the approach particularly for bleeding as my patients with polyps/rhinitis are quite prone to this.
