Hi All

Has anyone any experience in treating extrinsic allergic alveolitis?

I have a lovely lady come to me with this problem - actually that is

what the medics are saying but she is going into the Brompton for

extensive tests in the New Year. She has had a constant cough for the

past year following a bout of pneumonia. She has been constantly on

and off antibiotics over this period. When it is acute she also has

flu like symptoms - aching, fever. Sometimes migraine and vomiting

because of the cough, most of the time she brings up little mucus which

is clear. Her chest sounds terrible! wheezing and crackles.

Triggers could include house move, divorce, obviously pneumonia has

made worse. I have been giving her (off the top of my head) Inula,

Thymus, Echinacea on and off when needed, Ephedra, lobelia...Plus

massage with essential oils. She is losing weight because she is more

ill than not. Cancer has been scanned/tested for. Does anyone have

any wonderful ideas?
