Guest guest
without knowing what else is not working it just occured to me to ask what her hormonal balance is like i.e. progesterone in relation to oestrogen? So often this is overlooked by the medics and I have often heard of succesfull treatment just by getting the progesterone level up. best of luck. Guest guest
Yes I would agree to work on hormonal balance and also the liver - lovely Milk Thistle - IVF has a huge impact on the liver and ovaries because of the drugs given, and can vastly alter a womans hormonal state temporarily or permanently if not corrected. I heard alot about AMH at an infertility conference I went to this year - it is a relatively new test which is used to get an idea of how " fertile " a woman is - quality of eggs and an approximate indication of how sensitively she will react to ovary stimulation - this gives an idea of how much Clomid to use. In my mind even though it is good to have these tests before going into IVF they are just figures which should fall into an overall picture if you get my drift! So it is really important to look at the whole picture and not let the client get too hung up on " poor " test figures. Sounds like you are doing a fine job at supporting her. Hope that helps X > > > > Hello, > > > > firstly a huge thank you to everybody who responded to my last post on > > breast cancer. Guest guest
Hi there why not take bicarb of soda a few days before ovulation - 1 tsp per day in half a glass of warm water - it's quite revolting but really good at bringing an acidic body back into balance. I have used it successfully in women with cystitis and those who have other acid conditions like gout, some arthritis and heart burn. Alot of nutritionists/ naturapaths use this method like this. Only use for upto a week as it could upset the whole acid/alkali balance. Alternatively taking baths or sitzing with suitable herbs feels really nourishing - you could try oat straw or whatever seems appropriate. Do you think she really needs the bicarb? Hope that's of some help X > > Dear All, > > I've a patient who is having trouble trying to conceive.
