Guest guest
Since I hear every little thing that's going on around me, I find myself angry far too often. I know it's not good for my blood pressure or my health in general, but earplugs hurt and white noise is never loud enough to cover up the noise caused by insensitive people and their possessions. Talking to the noise-makers does very little good. They either find my problems amusing, or they get angry at me for trying to tell them what to do. Either way, they keep on doing whatever it is that they do. I obsess over it until my stomach aches and then I run away and hide in a new place with new noises or I put in foam earplugs inside of industrial orange jackhammer headphones for construction workers. I deal with the pain until I can't stand it any more and my head feels like it's being crushed. I also use noise-cancelling headphones which aren't any where near strong enough either. That's about as good as it gets. Right now, I'm looking for a home in the country, but even that isn't a guarantee for quiet.
Guest guest
I have an oasis: I wear Hearos earplugs and noise cancelling earphones playing brown noise. I can turn up the brown noise since I’m wearing earplugs. Hope that helps.
