Guest guest
Again I want to issue a note of caution here in this little world of ours... There are NO treatments with proven records and documentation. Effective Treatment requires creative minds who come up with ideas and then try them, publish results, and others try them and get the same results. Then we might say, aha, this seems to have a good effect... So far what we have are speculative and potential treatments... People love to share here and I like it, too. But if just one person says, this fixed me, others will try it, too and I think that is a good thing. BUT....we are still on the very fringes of anything close to knowing what treatments work. That means, we can try out things and share here. That is the best we can do right now. The audiology group has spent a year studying 4S/misophonia and came up with a joint-fielf treatment of sound therapy with psychology therapy (CBT). We are trying this on people all across the USA. There will be many strange and even bizarre therapies that will be offered as time passes, when there is no known treatment for something, there are many many who will just jump on the bandwagan and promise you relief, etc. Just be cautious and try sure, then report back here so we can see what is happen ing out there...
