I will get swollen in the other knee or if my right foot is in an 'episode' I get the same sensation in my left. This is not all the time .but when it happens it does not figure. I hope all your problems are working out as far as life goes. It is hard enough to have CRPS and Fibro, and everything else we have without all the punches life can give us. Please try to come to chat tonight I know you feel tired and sad but we CAN help. Hugs, Deb
Guest guest
Hi ! I'm sure you know that you are in my thoughts often! I hope today is better for you. My knee surgeon told me that my " good " knee was actually worse than my bad. It takes all of the abuse my bad knee doesn't. It doesn't act up all of the time, but when it does, it is worse than the bad knee. I think that is due to our ability to withstand pain. I know that I have a tolerable level of pain. We all know that point, when it's bearable. I also believe that any " extra " pain seems so magnified because it pushes us past our level of endurance. Stubbing my toe will put me into hell. You should have your other knee checked out, though. I know that I tend to blame my RSD for all of my physical problems, and that could be dangerous. There may be an additional condition that can be dx and treated, avoiding any need for additional surgery. Please keep us posted! With hugs and Love, Jo
Guest guest
Dear Deb, I'm going to try and make the chat tonite. I'm posting this on the list, so i don't have to repeat myself. To tired for that. Jo, i definatly do have shingles. They are accross my back, and one arm. The pain is incrediable. The blisters have just started coming out. Please guys pray for me. Having something as painful as shingles on top of all this truly sucks big time. Also, to those of you who don't know me or are new, my dad sold his house and is coming to live with me. The closing was scheduled for May 3. However the house is also in my brothers name. My dad is going downhill fast. Complications from Shingles. He may not live to the closing. My brother (whos name is on the house.) is haveing quadruple bypass sugr. in a week or two. They haven't given us the final surg. date. Because of this, I talked to the realtor, and we're trying to work out having the closing asap, in the case they both don't make it, the house won't get tied up in probate. But , the girl buying the house needs to agree to give us a month to move dad out. Its going to be an enmous feat with both dad and i with shingels, and my rsd. Relying enormously on tom and my sons, and my brother danny and newphew donald. Both s (father and son) are going out on numerous prayer lists, so i'm confident they will be survive this. I refuse to admit either one of them will go to be with mom in heaven just yet. As far as the rsd goes. Its raining here. need i say more? Welcome to all the newbies. This is a great family to belong to. To tracey, God bless you sweetie, i rec'd all your snail mail cards and they really brightened me up. Thank you so much. I'll be writing to you later tonite, through email, and i snail mailed you a letter. I'm hanging in there guys. Putting it in God's hands cz i can't handle anymore. Thanks for listening. If anyone sees me online, though the buddy list, when your all chatting, please im me. Thanks. Love you all. Hope to be with all of you tonite, if i'm not to exhasted.
