Guest guest
My mom and I, too... we sit in our respective rooms across the house from each other and talk on messenger from the time she gets home from work til we go to bed... and try to spend 3-4 hours together each week, but I sit there triggered the whole time. It's hard.. my mom is my best friend and I want to be with her as often as I can, but I just can't handle it much anymore. It's not her voice.. it's everything else she does..--------------------------------------------------------- ♥ " Hope is more than a word; it's a state of being. Guest guest
I'm with you on all of that! And silverware rubbing together. Ahh! Hate that!Sent from my Verizon Wireless Phone Re: 20/20 update Normal people do not hear what I am hearing. Right now these sounds are my world:Ice being dug out of the freezer, going into the glasses, fan running on the microwavefree credit report.com commercial on the tv, I could strangle each of them with my bare hands and never smile or frown, bag of something crunchy just opened, and being crunchedflatware hitting the granite counter topsMother-in-law, in for rare visit, talking three octaves high to my 17 year old deaf border collie who doesn't remember who she isIf I asked each person to go outside and tell me what sounds they thought I had just listed for you, they would say, "The TV?" Guest guest
Trying to find the 20/20 email where someone put the link to the video on there and cant find it. Can someone repost it? I laughed too, but not so much because it was funny, just the type of nervous laughter you get when you watch a scary movie - well, at least that's what I do when I watch scary movies. I was like "why would they do that?!" and my brother jokingly said it was a test to make sure people really had it. > > > > > > > > > Hi Everyone > > > > > > I am so excited about 20/20 tonight.
