Couple of things

Hey everyone, a quick couple of things

First of all, sorry I've missed a day folks, we had a major flood here over

the weekend and we are still reeling. (I'm having a computer break to gain some

sanity here - thank goodness the puters were okay) We didn't have too much

property loss, but we will need all new floors throughout the house. Nobody was

hurt, it could've been worse. Although I'll never forget swinging my feet off

the side of the bed at 7:30 to a " splash " !

On the fabulous-o side of things, Kennedy is back to loving her bath, so

much so that she is totally soaking the whole bathroom with each one. She is

taking steps holding our hands now and the latest thing is " CRAWLING " !!! It

took pretty near 2 years but dang nab it she's doing it. I've never been so

excited about something so far. It looks so funny to see her do something

" normal " ... May this be the end of the back-scooting bald spot!

And, finally, one more quick brag moment, I got an email from something called

" Mommies on the Web " who gave Kennedy an " Special Achievment Award " after

visiting our web page. It's at

for anyone who's interested. About 1/2 or 2/3 of the way down the page.

Hope you are all having a great week and I'm glad there are no birthdays on

the CHARGE list this week to take care of - I'm off to mop!!!

Ooooh-- that flood sounds challenging! We live about 30 min from the

edge of the great flood of '? (can't remember the year :-)) on the

Mississippi. It was probably 5 or 6 years ago. I've never experienced

anything like it. I hope you and your community recover soon.

Re: crawling -- Yahoo!!! I'm sure you're beaming! It's so exciting to

watch each accomplishment and then see how it changes their life.

Suddenly, they can get into new things, see the world from a new view,

etc. I'm so happy for Kennedy!

Congratulations to Kennedy!!! That's a nice website that gave the award!

Say, how did that flood occur?? Please don't do too much mopping. Remember to

take it a bit easy.
