The Upper Midwest Soapmakers Guild is having their annual gathering in

beautiful La Crosse, Wisconsin on May 3rd, 2008

Our theme this year is " Rollin' On the River " since La Crosse is at

the junction of the Mississippi, Black, and La Crosse Rivers

We have great presentations

- PJ Kates will be giving a demonstration on her techniques for Melt

and Pour soaps

- Sodren will be showing us how to make Melt and Pour molds from

our own items

- Patti Eder will be talking to us about Search Engine Optimization

- Wiggins will be talking about the process of becoming an LLC

We have swaps and contests, garage sales, and prebuys going on for lye

from Boyer, and oils from Soapers Choice.

We are planning a Saturday night Dinner Cruise on the La Crosse Queen,

which we will be chartering if we can get enough people to sign up -

it's a 2 and1/2 hour cruise up the Mississippi and back. We are almost

there with numbers - we only need 5 more to sign up and its a go!

We always have a great time and we'd love to share it with you!
