Guest guest
Bonnie, I hope you realize that the senders didn't send those posts on purpose. It only meant they'd gotten infected. The virus took over their address books and yahoo groups, and sent this virus to these addresses under the guise of their e-mail address. They didn't actually send it, it was the nature of the virus. You banned people who had no control over the messages they were sending to those groups. If this happens in the future, know that putting them on moderated status will accomplish the task. If you see the virus message come through, you don't approve the message. I had a few group owners do this to my account, as I caught the virus. This one was an ugly one. Most don't infect you unless you open an attachment, and this one didn't work that way. All one had to do was open the email, and the virus attacked their computer. Yes, we need to be cautious regarding viruses, but you may want to find those people you banned, because it wasn't their fault. > A few of these showed up in a couple Yahoo groups I manage... > Rejected those messages and banned the poster... > > Bonnie - crew Enterprises LLC
