McCandless Premier Panel Results - Puzzled

We're posting hoping that list members may have some insights into

the results we received from Immunosciences.

History: is 7 (will be 8 in late June), was diagnosed PPD-NOS

at 3, later revised to autistic at age 6. His most

noticeable " symptom " is a loss of speech (now maybe one to two words

per day after having 100+ word vocabulary at 18 months). Regression

occurred following MMR. Up to that point, he was fully vaccinated.

Suffered ongoing ear infections, had ear tubes (along with topical

antibiotic containing Thimerosal), and was diagnosed with an

esophogeal ulcer at 32 months. Went from >50-percentile in weight to

5th percentile but has been putting on a little weight in the last

year (now weighs 54 lbs and is 48-1/2 inches tall). Overall health

is pretty good - no colds, infections, fevers, but diarrhea now and

then.

Treatment: We have been chelating with DMSA for 3-1/2 years (first

orally, now TD), he has been GF/CF for 2-1/2 yrs, and receives the

following supplements:

MB-12 shots (every 3 days, started 9/05)

Chelation has taken him from " most toxic kid I've seen " (DAN! doc

quote) to most recent test showing high in lead only.

GF/CF improved eye contact and reduced regression.

Following initial five weeks of MB12 shots saw big increase in

speech (multi-word statements) but now says only a couple words each

day.

Having plateaued, we decided to use the McCandless Premier Panel,

hoping that maybe we would find something that would lead us toward

the next step (e.g., Vitamin A therapy for measles, or LDN, or

whatever the results indicated). We received the results with mixed

feelings, as he tested normal in all but one category. His DAN! doc

was a little disappointed as well stating that he didn't " believe in

comprehensive tests " but hasn't offered much else, either. Based on

the results (below), does anyone have suggestions for next steps?
