Hi ,

I think the American estrogel is made by the same manufacturer as the

oesterogel and is the same thing but much less expensive. It seems

like the drug manufacturers like to put a huge premium on drugs sold

in the US!!!

When I use Cyclogest I use between 20-50 mg/day. I have not used any

my past two cycles though because I seem to be cycling on my own. The

big question is how much to use and I do not know for sure. The last

time I used it without ovulation I did not get a good period like I

normally do. That time I used 30 mg for 10 days and 40 mg for two

days just once a day. That did not seem like enough because I did not

have my heavy bleeding as long. Next time (with no ovulation) I am

going to split it into twice a day dosing and probably try to use 40

mg/day. The prochieve and crinone are long acting. My thoughts are

that maybe the long acting thing is a key. If I dose twice a day it

would be more like the long acting vag progesterone than if I dose

once a day. These are just my ideas though and I have no research.

Yes, that Jan guy is really helpful and informative. Isn't he in his

70s? I would like to see a picture of him. Did you catch one of his

posts where he complained about his wife not wanting sex much?

Apparently she is not interested in hormones but he is over the top

interested. He wants me to look at a chart that he posted on another

group. I cannot for the life of me figure out what he is refearing to

and what he is talking about. I have been too busy with work and have

not had enough time to try and figure out what he is talking about. I

do not understand their abreviations either which makes it hard to

follow what they are saying sometimes.
