Guest guest
Yes. The other triggers you mentioned are my triggers too. I think it's funny if someone pronounces something wrong, but if it's over and over, even after they've been told proper pronunciation, I get pissed. Also if someone repeatedly uses the wrongname for something, like referring to their iPod touch as an iPhone or calling a certain group the wrong name (i.e. PATA instead of PETA) I get very annoyed at that person. Maybe it has to do with sound or maybe just what I assume is the person's ignorance. But generally my trigger people are my close family, so at least I'm not yelling at my friends and colleagues. Every time I hear someone say things like "ya know" over and over in their conversations or pronounces something wrong it sets me off. Guest guest
Certain people when speaking the more nasally languages sets me off. I keep thinking I'm racist or something. But maybe not after all? <3 ArleneSent from my iPhone Every time I hear someone say things like "ya know" over and over in their conversations or pronounces something wrong it sets me off. Guest guest
I'm from the South and lived for a time in New England. The heavy accent of some people there really set me off... not particularly the general sound of it, but the tendency to switch endings like saying " butta " for butter and " pizzer " for pizza, or calling a water fountain a " bubbler " . Argh!! Also, hearing otherwise educated people saying " could of went " instead of " could have gone " or things like " He really ran good " ... those set me off, too. On a similar note to yours, if I hear " like " used three times in a single sentence (i.e. over and over again), it makes me want to slap the person. > > Every time I hear someone say things like " ya know " over and over in their conversations or pronounces something wrong it sets me off. > > Other triggers: > > Yawning > Chewing > Slurping > Breathing heavily > Metallic screeching >
