I understand the anger reaction. I get angry as well, and can't stand to be around people. It's very crippling and I would love to find a solution. I don't like to work, go to movies, shop, anything because someone is bound to upset me.

For me I get angry and yell at someone, I become overly irritable at everything, I have panic attacks, I will curl up in a ball in bed while crying and digging my nails into my scalp. I do not have a physical pain, but a serious mental one. Have you found any ways to try and get over it and/or make your reactions less intense?

When I'm in panic mode, I just have to leave the situations, get away from the

sound and talk a walk outside or go sit in my car, put my head back, close my

eyes and breathe. Read a book. Take a bath. Anything to focus on something else

besides the trigger noise.

It's difficult when I'm triggered at work, which is constantly, because I can't

leave my desk every 5 minutes to go dilly dally around. I use simplynoise.com

played on my computer speakers, that helps.

but as far as controlling my reaction, i don't think any of us have mastered

that. I find that it's stronger and more panicky when I'm already agitated or

stressed out about something, have a lot on my mind. But if I'm having a good

day, I don't seem bothered by triggers as much, if at all.

The following paragraph is a re-post intended for Kelsey:

So far, I think I’m the only one to try Lactobacillus rhamnosus, which is contained in some yoghurts. Scientific American reported anxiety reduction in lab mice, and it immediately helped me with my OCD “painâ€. I’m referring to the painful involuntary cringe portion of my misophonia-like reaction, not the sound aversion.

I buy it from Amazon as “Klaire Labs - Ther-Biotic Factor 1â€. I advise googling it first for safety.

Hopefully,
