Guest guest
I was thinking how nice it would be if we had a celebrity spokesman for Misophonia sufferers. Does Ripa even know we exist? Since she has been so candid about this issue, and hoping that things may change some in the post 20/20 era:), she may be willing to help. Doesn't hurt to ask...Mike To: Soundsensitivity Sent: Tuesday, April 17, 2012 3:03 PM Subject: Re: Magazine article I think we should all comment when we see something in writing like this - and comment too when we see something that is spot-on. We'd get more attention if there are more people involved and we'd be able to express more points of view, including steering the ship. We won't just be leaving it up to a reader to look it up to find out more. I think many readers would just go back to "knowing" it's a psych disorder and there is nothing to help them. Despair does not allow for much curiosity. So we need to be heard. We need many voices. > > I agree Adah, that we must try to steer the ship in a straight course but again, when we can see the condition being discussed or presented, this is still an alerting function for many people who may look up the term and discover more. > > MJ >
