I broke mine after 3-4 years. They might break if you sleep with them on. Their 30 day return policy says “any reasonâ€, if that helps. Bose is the same price everywhere – no discounts except shipping and taxes. Hearos are at Walgreens or Amazon.

Sounds great, thanks ! I just need to be able to fall asleep, for the most part, and I can do that on my back.... but how durable are they? Would the headphones break if I were to toss and turn with them on at night?Did you get your Bose headphones and the Heros earplugs at a specific store, or did you find them online?>> I wear Bose noise cancelling earphones all day at work. They are very comfortable since they mostly rest on top of your head with minimal sideways pressure. You want the Quietcomfort 15 model (bigger and $50 less) since it wraps around the ear and reduces noise better. Sleeping in earphones would be tough but it sounds like you already do that.> > They reduce a lot of the noise, but I wear Hearos Ultimate Softness Series earplugs inside them, also comfortable. One of my co-workers clears their throat quite loudly, so I have to play brown noise on the headphones. The earplugs prevent hearing damage and make the brown noise quiet enough for sleep I’d say.> > My day is virtually trigger-free unless I have to talk to someone.> > Hope this helps,> > > > From: Karolina > Sent: Monday, May 21, 2012 5:18 PM> To: mailto:Soundsensitivity%40yahoogroups.com > Subject: BOSE noise cancelling headphones> > > So I've known about them for some time, but have been trying other (less expensive) options. Does anyone on here use them? Just how quiet are they? I don't need the fancy techie features it comes with - I have no intention of necessarily using them to listen to music or take calls. I just need to be able to wear them around the house and to sleep. Also, I noticed there's two different kinds, ones are a bit smaller and $50 more. Does anyone recommend one type over another?> > Thanks!>
