Dear Parents,

We would greatly appreciate your participation in the national

FEND-Folate Study sponsored by town University Medical Center (IRB

# 2009-162) and the Interactive Autism

Network (Project # SR0039). " FEND " stands for fetal exposure to

neuroactive

drugs. Many families who are affected by autism spectrum and other

pervasive

developmental disorders are not included in medical studies and birth

registries

that track longer term childhood outcomes of prenatal exposure to

neuroactive

medications and folate. The FEND Study would like you to be our

collaborator

and help us disseminate this online risk assessment survey:

.. This

link takes you to a letter from the principal investigator that explains

the

impetus and specific aims of this initiative. If you read the letter and

choose

to participate in the survey, please know that participation is

anonymous,

encrypted, and takes 5 minutes to complete. Thank you for your

cooperation!

You are welcome to contact the principal investigator Dr. McVearry if

you have

any questions ( <tel:%28> or

fendstudy@... ). You can find more

information at our page, http://www.facebook.com/FendFolateStudy

Thank you for helping us accelerate understanding about prenatal

exposure to

neuroactive drugs and folate!
