Hi Gail, Terri and friends,

I could not have put it into better words Gail! What a beautiful letter...and

Terri...take heart! Everything Gail says IS true! Keep your chin up..and

remember, you have MANY new friends here who understand everything that you

are going through...maybe this is the GOOD out of the something BAD you are

going through right now! Together...we all will get better!

Feel free to write to me at ANY time...I too, felt just as you 8 months

ago...having VV for almost 2 years now...and the past 5 months I have been 98%

better and even have resumed sex with hubby...You too, will find a combination

of things that will in time, help to heal your vulva. I can't say it's been

any one thing for me...but, the thing I credit with the most is long term

Diflucan, (an antifungal)

WIshing all my friends an end to their pain SOON in 1999.

Hugs and love,

Carla

Dear Carla & Darlene:

Thanks for letting me know I'm not just spouting off a lot of drivel

that no one else agrees with! :) *blush* I'll try not to get a big head

over it, hehehe! I'm so glad we have these lists to be able to communicate

not only our experiences and ideas, but our feelings and insights as well.

I think those things are just as important as the more mundane, physical,

'medical' aspects of dealing with it.

Warmly,

Gail

Hi Gail,

I think you answered Teri's letter so beautifully. We do have to learn not

to

feel guilty about being in pain and not being able to do the things we once

could do. We didn't do anything to get VV or I.C. etc. and we do what we

can

to help our symptoms. Anyone that doesn't understand that, or won't

understand that, has problems of their own! I agree with you, they will

solve

this someday and hopefully sooner not later!

Darlene
