Guest guest
I am about to have surgery and will be in hospital for 5-10 days after. I live in the UK where patients are kept in wards - big open rooms with between 4 and 16 other patients. When I have been in a ward in the past, I had major panic attacks and needed to be sedated. When I was pregnant, I was given a VERY rare private room to relax. I did not know I had misophonia until a couple days ago. How can I convey this to the hospital staff that I have a real condition and I require my own room??
