That's great progress and great that you increase the weight each

time. Do you use plate mates or some other thing for small

increments? The only thing that looked unusual to me was the barbell

flyes. I find it difficult to add weight to the flyes, because the

further away the weight is from the body, the harder it becomes to

lift.

I use plate mates.

Perhaps, I started too low on the flyes.

Hey Ladies and Gents! well since my diagnosis this past summer I decided to have my IUD removed, and replaced with a hormone free IUD.  Once I did this at the end of December it seemed I was cured!

Then this past month- right before my monthly cycle, I developed a tiny nodule. Not anything like the other ones had been, but still there and still annoying and painful!  So, now my nodule is going away, not leaving quite as prominant of a dark spot, but the pain in my hips is definitely there about 75% of the time, and especially worse on the days I am more active.

Here is my question- I have NO synthetic hormones in my body, I have taken out Soy from my diet as well, but I know that my breakouts are hormone related.  Have any of you tried loosing weight to help control hormones?  I do not ask that as an insult or to imply that any of us are over weight by any means, I mean I am far from obeese, but I read recently that Fat cells produce estrogen... and I thought maybe if I could loose a few pounds I could lower my estrogen levels even more and get rid of these stupid things on my legs that are holding me back from life!!!  Has anyone else tried this in an attempt to get rid of the outbreaks?  If so, how successful were you?   I can't work out, so I signed up for some meal replacement shakes, and I actually like the way that they taste, so I am hoping it works.  Just thought I would see if anyone else has gone this route.

Thanks everyone for the input, this group (as most of us know) is an invaluable resource and encouragement to those of us in the midst of breakouts! Take care,Bethany Airhart
