Guest guest
We bought phone cards to use while I was out of state at the tx center and the ones we had were a rip-off. Each time you use it they tell you how many minutes are left and somehow we seemed to lose a lot of minutes, hours without use. I suppose there are good ones out there or they wouldn't stay in business. The ones we got were on line and weren't from a major company--i.e., Sprint or AT & T. My son had used the ones we got before w/no problem from our home, but once we took it out of state to make out of state calls, they were used up faster than the 20 hrs' worth. Laurie RE: Peg - JQ I've given her my charge card cause MCI has the same rates at evening or weekends. Didn't think of the phone cards. Good idea. Peg -----Original Message-----From: T.J. Her phone was busy for quite a while so I thought I might get lucky and actually talk with her. But guess my message did the trick !! If money is a problem we could send her one of those phone cards, they are always cheaper than direct dialing and wouldn't cost her a penny. Did she say anything about Dr.s plan of action ? Guest guest
I had some with one of the major accounts, can't remember which one that worked fine (at least calling from home to JQ) but thanks for the warning. I just got some free by joining my points and answering their questions haven't tried it yet. I thought if people wanted to help in some way they could send her cards. I guess if we do that we should make sure they are from one of the major companies. (If anyone wants to do it, e-mail me privately and I'll send you her address) She could probably use some greeting support cards right now too. I bet Luke and the kids could use some cards too. I can be e-mailed at either palfeld@... or palfeld@.... Peg
