Guest guest
The Starbright Foundation has a " videos with attitude " series for preteens and teenagers with serious illnesses. http://www.surgeongeneral.gov/todo/attitude.htm They're free and the online order process is quick and easy. Meanwhile, back at our ranch... Back-to-school has been hard on Quantell. He's sleeping 11 hours a night, and resting another couple hours during the day. On weekends, he'll sleep 16-20 hours at a stretch. And when he is awake, he's low key. He's seeing the hepatologist every 2-4 weeks, and his veins are shot from all the bloodwork. But on a pure kid note, he's developed a fixation with " the cookies with the words inside. " I can make his day by slipping a fortune cookie into his lunch box. Hope you're all well. Any Irish types -- there's a big Gaelic festival nearby this weekend.
