Former Members of Vulvodynialist

What I'd like to know is what is Dr. & Dr. Glazer's reason for starting

another list. He dumped us because he said it was becoming too hard to

handle, not to mention, we were getting away from the point of his

list.....which was to get us to use his methods for treating VV. Also, he

claimed he had problems with some of the members on the list. And, if I

remember correctly, said we were using his list as a forum for support and

help to each other, which it wasn't meant to be. I have to wonder what his

motives are for starting a list on the same listserv as this one. I, for one,

would never subscribe to his list. I am so sorry to hear about the death of

your grandfather. You have my sympathy and prayers. Take care, Diane

To all women who are former members of Vulvodynialist:

It has come to my attention that Dr. / Dr. Glazer have created a

mailing list on ONElist under the topic of " vulvodynia " .

This APPALLS me. How could they dump all of us off their former list

with basically no explanation or concern and then turn around and start

a new list. Maybe I'm being paranoid, but I find it rather ironic that

they dumped the list, requested subscription to my list (which I

rejected), and then turned around and created a new list on the same

service that I am using. We all know that they have other facilities to

use for creating a list, so it seems especially pointed that they chose

ONElist.

Anyway, I just wanted to alert you all to this. I'd be interested in

hearing from some of you as to your feelings about all of this.

Hi Jeannette, Heidi...and all my other friends,

The two " SCAMMERS " make me sick..It takes a VERY SICK MIND to take advantage

of women in such vulnerable situations.

There's a place down under for such people...afterall, we must all eventually

answer to the higher source above...

May their desires in greed..become their eternal damnation in the future.

Dear Heidi I think this is appalling .. I wish ther was something that we

could do ..maybe we can add to our address .... Vulvodynia after

vulvadisorders or vice r versa so someone searching for vulvodynia

will not end up on thier list, The other thing and this is kind of sneaky is

get on list and privately E-mail the people that are there .. that there is

also another list.. But i guess that really is kind of

sneaky,,,

On the other side ,, Look what they did to us without a

thought. They are only here because he wants to promote biofeedback and his

practice... ( just my thoughts)

I think I can speak for many of us when I say that I am sick and tired of

Dr. and his attitude and treatment of vulvodynia sufferers. I

firmly believe that he is not interested at all in our feelings, but only

in how he can promote his own products. I think this is obvious by the

way he suddenly *dumped* all of us for an unknown reason, then started up

new lists dealing with the exact same topic.

About Dr Glazer,

I don't know much about him as I am new to the whole list serve mechanism.

I do find I ironic that he would start one here too. When I first tried to

find a way to do my research for my thesis, I went to his chat room,

subscribed and told him that I was interested in finding participants for my

reserach on coping strategies. However, he basically kicked me off, telling

me that my ideas didn't fit into his own research. Ironically, he was the

one that recomended me to this list server, I guess he was good for something!

Just thought I'd put my two cents in.
