Guest guest
Yesterday I had an appointment with a doctor that was my family doc up until 3 years ago when I began being seen by specialists only, we caught up on ALL the surgeries and stuff I have had in the past 3 years, he was in shock...morphine pump, SCS, RSD, Cirrhosis, Hep.C, and a partridge in a pear tree. He asked me when was my last MRI? I said I'm not sure I've had an MRI since all this (because you can't have an MRI with all these implants) he said: well how is your pain specialist tracking your bone deterioration? WHAT? I said. Then he said when you have RSD your bones can sort of melt? WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? the heck is he talking about? We got off the subject before I had him explain himself, I never heard of such a thing. Can anyone help me out? I thought I knew everything about this terror. If this is a fact, what do you do about it? He also said the problem in my shoulder is that it is Impinged? (spelling?) anyone know anything about an Impinged shoulder? He said this must have surgery or I will lose all movement in it, it is already limited to reaching straight out in front, no sideways or backward movement without unbeleivable pain. in Alaska
