If they can find a way to reverse liver scarring without too

many negative side effects, this research may prove to be a

breakthrough in treating cirrhosis.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

The article was a little too technical for me but I got the gist of it. How

far behind is the US in treatments found in other countries? Would the

treatment reverse the scarring in the biliary tree if the liver doesn't have

cirrhosis yet? As least it may provide another means of treating hep patients

taking them off the transplant list.
