Guest guest
Wow, I didn't think I'd ever " meet " anyone with more sensitivity to spiciness than me. Now I see I'm not the most sensitive in this department. I always say that to me, spicy is onion, salt, and pepper (and a tiny bit of horseradish with traditional Easter meal). I cannot tolerate anything more than that. It hadn't even occurred to me that bbq sauce or ketchup may taste spicy to someone. Fascinating > > I have never been able to eat spicy foods or foods with hot peppers. Chili is another one... I have to make my chili without chili powder. I can't even eat catsup because it stings my mouth so bad. Sometimes I keep eating a piece of pizza because it's so good... even though it feels like my mouth is on fire. Of course Bar BQ sauce on anything is out! Not the worst thing in the world, but hard to eat at other people's houses sometimes. The worst thing is misophonia... >
Guest guest
Also, I have to water down soft drinks... They too feel like they are burning my mouth. Also cole slaw and most dressings. *;* Wow, I didn't think I'd ever " meet " anyone with more sensitivity to spiciness than me. Now I see I'm not the most sensitive in this department.
