My original post was on June 18 with a list of some of the more annoying noise triggers that evoke rage. I'm compelled to continue listing specific triggers, as the simple act of listing these seems to be theraputic:

^Those horrible, God-forsaken, exagerated bass frequency, brain rattling. ear splitting automobile sound systems that are typically playing simply ugly "music"___

^Those "little idiot" loud fart-muffler cars driven by "little idiots"___

^Working in a public or office enviroment on a computer and bearing the excrutiating agony of listening to someone else hum to themselves, emit some other kind of grating vocal emissions, talking to themselves, or talking to others about content that has no relevance to their work task at hand___

^The bi-weekly invasion of the lawn maintainence crew at my apartment building with their torturous weed wackers, mowers, and blowers. Thank God I'm not at home during most of their visits!

^Those public cell-phone users who are oblivious to the consideration of personal acoustic space they should afford everyone around them- especially those of us with DST, 4S or how ever you like to label your (our) problem___

Enough listing for now.

I'm curious what percent of the population have decreased sound tolerances, what kind of sounds, and to what degree.
