Hi Ginny,

Do you know why you were biting your hand & screaming? If you know why,

then you should ask for help to make it better. I'm sure you don't like

doing those things either. Maybe seeing a sensory aware OT (occupational

therapist) would help, if it's a sensory issue. You might say something

like " _______ was bothering me, so I needed to bite my hand to distract me

from that " , or " My _________ was hurting & that's why I was screaming.

Nothing was hurting me and I was biting my hand because I was thinking bad

thoughts. I was going crazy. I was waking people up and upsetting people.

 

Please..someone tell me how to be pleasant.

Ginny, how about going to counseling to help deal with the bad thoughts &

to help you stop hurting yourself. Sounds like you need some outside help

to deal with these problems & you need an alternative way. Have you tried

a hot bath to try to relax with some epsom salts? Sleep with a heavy

blanket/comforter to add weight? Jump on a trampoline (a small room size

one). Watch a dvd?
