Guest guest
Jill, A couple of us in this group have tried Brainwave Optimization. My results were unsuccessful, but I think one experienced some improvement and was going to do more. Is that the Brain Balance Center treatment you're talking about? If not, I'd like more information. Is there a website? Colleen > > Has anyone every tried going to a Brain Balance Center? I have been told that they can retrain the auditory processing part of the brain. Just wondering if anybody had success with this as a treatment for misophonia? >

Guest guest
Mike, I went to a lady who was treated herself at Brain State Technologies in Arizona. It was so successful for her condition (not SPD or Miso) that she decided to train as a technologist to help other people. She had been practicing for about 2 years when I saw her. Her website is: http://www.brainstatetech.com/affiliate_info/us/new-life-brain-center# She was and may still be the only technologist in the Dallas area. I had 10 sessions in five days. The brainwave pattern printouts she gave me showed brain changes, but in reality I had no improvement in SPD, Miso, insomnia, depression or PTSD. She called me 3 weeks later to see if there was a delayed reaction and was astonished that there was not. She discouraged further treatment and seemed genuinely disappointed for me. I was her first failure. Mike, if you experience improvement with the Miso after more sessions, I'd be interested in hearing what makes the difference between your first 10 sessions and more treatment. Thanks for your interest. Colleen > > > > Has anyone every tried going to a Brain Balance Center? I have been told that they can retrain the auditory processing part of the brain.
