Welcome to the Family, feels good just to know there are others huh?I sent an email immediately to all my family members that I see regularly to provide information and all that. I thought I was the only person with my problem! I've lived with Misophonia all of my life, but I didn't know what it was until I got fed up and did some research a couple of days ago. For all of my life, I've hated certain sounds like the vacuum cleaner, pens clicking, and my parrot's screaming. But when I would complain or act out, people would get mad at me and think that I was spoiled and tell me that I would have to "Get over it" or "It's not YOUR world, others live in it and make noise." No one ever understood, and still don't. But now I have a whole community of people who I can relate to and can suggest treatments and doctors to visit! I am ecstatic! Finally some relief!Thank you!Becca_
