Guest guest
Never, ever. Who knows why? For those members who are triggered by eating noises... do your own eating noises bother you? Like, can you eat potato chips or chew gum or does even your own stuff trigger you? Sheryl =
Guest guest
Good question Sheryl. Most of the time my own eating noises are not bothersome. Only sometimes when my tolerance is really low do I have to resort to liquid meal replacements like Ensure or a Smoothy. I sometimes eat chips or popcorn in self defense if someone else is eating them around me. I have to drown out their noise with mine and help them get to the end of the torture quicker. Guest guest
Eating noises are my biggest trigger, but no, my own don't bother me either. But while I might eat carelessly when alone, I would never ever do that if someone else was with me. For me, there's a large component of people being considerate of one another, or more specifically, not being, that really triggers me. Guest guest
Wow. I haven't had to resort to liquid meals yet, but I definitely take popcorn and chips that I don't want just to finish them faster! Sucks when they just get up and refill the bowl... Guest guest
No it doesn't, and I have wondered about this. To: Soundsensitivity Sent: Monday, July 2, 2012 11:21 PM Subject: just curious...
