Guest guest
Very excited for you!Heidi Yesterday, I got the qEEG test results from my new neurofeedback providers. I am blown away by this method of diagnostics and totally impressed with the two highly educated women who own this facility. They have successfully treated clients with sensory issues and hyperacusis (amongst other ills). I haven't felt this hopeful in a long time. Unfortunately, as some of you have warned, it will take 80-100 sessions due to my condition, complicated by a severe brain injury I received during a bicycle fall (with helmet on, thank God). The brain injury actually showed up on the qEEG, but was undetected in the ER 10 years ago due to lack of typical concussion symptoms. The injury has contributed to the worsening of my sensory issues. Something that might interest you all--these experienced professionals stated that symptoms worsen over time due to either diminishing or accumulating neuro-chemicals (determined by the qEEG test). The chemicals they mentioned are adrenaline, epinephrine and norepinephrine. There may be others--didn't think to ask. I have finished three sessions and plan to go five days a week through July. I will re-assess at that time whether or not to continue. This is expensive, but at least there's a price break if you purchase 10 or 20 sessions in advance. If you achieve your goal early, the unused sessions are refundable. Testing, evaluation and counseling are priced separately. Also, a receipt with CPT billing codes for insurance reimbursement is provided upon request. My insurance company will not cover it, but for those who have sufficient insurance coverage in the Dallas area, I'll send you provider information under private email. I don't want to appear to be soliciting, but I don't want to withhold helpful information to those who want it. I'll let you know when I experience my first signs of improvement. Colleen Gorgeous, youthful skin is waiting for you. Real science. Real results.www.heidisalerno.nerium.com

Guest guest
I am finding one that does neurofeedback and is a preferred provider so I will have coverage with my insurance. Still looking for the right one. Supposedly they cover 100 % after the deductible is paid. We will see. Just not sure if I want to go any further with Brain State. They are not covered either.I did have some good results with it, but not so far with the Miso.Mike To: Soundsensitivity Sent: Saturday, July 7, 2012 9:26 AM Subject: Re: Neurofeedback Information New doctor?
