Guest guest
I love the app SimplyNoise -- simplynoise.com. You can listen on their website, too. It has white, pink, and brown noise options -- the pink is perfect for me. There's a free version and a paid version, which was very worthwhile at $.99. Thing is - I wonder about the brown noise. I find it easy to listen to, but it does nothing to mask the sounds of my coworker eating. I think I need to find another site for brown noise to see if this version is just particularly quiet. Guest guest
I often wish I could trade in some of my impeccable hearing ability and put the "credit" towards my blurring vision. I could go to a restaurant and not be compelled to assess the room to see how many loud diners I might be seated next to by the hostess. I could choose a greeting card without being bothered by canned "music" beating on my head. I could go to the movies and not hear the conversations and ringing cell phones around me.
