Guest guest
Hey Kaylee :)Many people have mentioned taking Anti-Anxiety meds before...some have had some results...but most said that it didn't help with their Misophonia much. It does improve the way you DEAL with triggers..but it doesn't stop you from having them (based on info I have read and what people have said)It's great that it's working for you! I might try that as well, though when I took anti-depressants I was not happy about the side-effects. Hi, My name is . I have had noice sensitivity for as long as I can remember. Do any of you have tips on dealing with it? I hate getting so agitated. For the longest time I felt like I was the only one with this. Guest guest
I have taken several different antidepressants including zoloft, and also have used lorazepam or clonazepam intermittently, usually at night, but I haven't seen any effect on my response to sound triggers. (Sound triggers are not the problem for going to sleep - it's general anxiety with my mind going in circles.) The antidepressants made my mood very flat - no ups and no downs, and I wasn't happy with that. Antidepressants have had their place in my life when the downs were too low and long-lasting, but I haven't used them long-term. Through it all, the sound triggers continued to make me miserable when I was around them (I live alone, so it's worst when I'm with certain family members or people who generally have no table manners.) (Or the Cheetos commercial that came on last night! Talking with their mouth full AND crunching with their mouths open! I couldn't find the mute fast enough!) Missy Hello all. Let me introduce myself, my name is kaylee, I am 25 years old And I have been dealing with sound sensitivity for all my life But I have finally found a solution. I have been taking zoloft for the Last few weeks and it has made a WORLD of difference! I feel so Free and so great. Does anybody else take any anxiety medicine or Something of the sort? Thank you!
