Guest guest
Well, things are pretty much back to normal now. Mom had a rally for a couple of days...seemed almost like her old self. However when I went over on Sunday she told my 23-year-old daughter that Jesus was just a man, and that God's true sons were " Grace " and " Gospel " . She couldn't get us straight in her mind as to who we were, and she asked me several times if I was a person from her childhood, even calling me Jan Jo E-. I knew then that we were heading down the pike. Yesterday she called me three times with the same questions and the same remarks, but she said she needed to call EMSA to come take her to " St. 's " so she could get her legs fixed. We have no " St. 's " hospital or anything like that around here. We have St. and St. Francis, but no St. . I told her I thought it was something we could handle at home, but obviously she didn't believe me. Around 9:00 or so last night, she called EMSA and they showed up with an ambulance to take her to the hospital. Now...if you know someone has LBD and has a tendency to do strange things, wouldn't you know better than to leave the phone within their reach? This isn't the first time, the SECOND time, or even the THIRD TIME that Mom's done this, and Dad called me to tell me that he's removed all the phones from their living room so she can't get to them. *insert heavy sigh here* It just gets funner and funner.
