HI all, I am rereading a book that I read 2 years ago called" Adrenal Fatigue the 21st century stress syndrome" by Dr. . I was being treated for this but moved and never finished the treatment. I bring it up because I think it may be common to us Miso folks due to the extreme and prolonged stress that Misophonia has on us. The fight and flight response, whichwe feel almost daily, puts an unnatural amount of stress on the Adrenal Glands, which are our stress glands. . They regulate a multitude of hormones that our body produces to deal with stress. Many things can cause Adrenal Fatigue... poor diet, lack of exercise, trauma, but the big one is stress. This can be compounded

by other difficulties we deal with due to our condition like financial and relationship issues, drug and alcohol and on and on. When the adrenal glands are worn out we can have a nervous breakdown, which is another word to adrenal fatigue. Symptoms include insomnia, depression, weight gain, loss of sex drive, inability to concentrate and memory loss, just to name a few. The good news it that it is treatable! Here is an article that may be of interest if you think this is an issue for you, and you can find the book on Amazon if you want to learn more. http://www.naturalnews.com/019339.htmlAdrenal Fatigue is just one of the physical effects of this crazy condition we have which can wear us down over time if we are not careful. One of the

reasons why I am always beating the drum here about proper diet, exercise, relaxation ( if possible) and avoidance of drugs( again if possible) and alcohol.I welcome any comments about this and anything similar. Mike
