Guest guest
Yes, there seems to be a link between being " exquisitely sensitive " and 4s. I am 51 years old, do not have 4s (our son does) but I am very sensitive in many of the ways mentioned, as is my husband (he has milder 4s). It is a blessing and a curse, it is what enables us to be artists etc...I get over stimulated VERY easily, go on silent retreats at least twice a year, which is very helpful. I have also heard that mild aspergers like as you described , is common. Our son is similar. I have sayings I repeat to myself to help stay grounded in my body like Kathleen mentioned for example " „I am centered and safe in the home of myself. I hope this is helpful to someone, I leave for retreat tomorrow! Ann ('s mom)
