Hi there -- that research is interesting.

About anti-fungals. I was the queen of running to the gyny to get difulcan

and honestly, seeing a naturopath to help me plan a diet and to provide me

with supplements to

a-kill the yeast

b-get rid of parasites

c-feed the friendly bacteria

resulted in me not having a yeast infection since. I used to put my health

in Dr's hands but came to the realisation that there is a lot you can

control just by what you put in yourself, without resorting to drugs which

seem to have side-effects. To be honest I am surprised that gynacologists

don't tackle the problem in this way when it is a great long term solution!!!

Anyway, I know dr's and drugs are necessary for things and help us out in

tremendous ways but I also feel that western medicine is a bit out of tune

in some ways.

Dr. Crooks' book steered me in the right direction but even he claims you

can't rid yourself of candida without an anti-fungal prescription and you can!!

Also on the constipation front. My mom had bad constipation and saw her dr.

who recommended metamucil. she loathed taking that and ended up finding a

book which I think was called you and your colon. anyway, she changed her

diet and now she has no stomach problems. On the other end of the scale, I

had bad bad bad IBS and as a wonderful side effect, the anti-candida therapy

completely cured me of that!!!!!!

Anyway, i think when your body is aggravating you with SOME things like ibs

and constipation it is telling you that it doesn't like something you are

doing, and with help you can figure it out and put an end to it. I am not

saying all of our ailments are out fault, but just that there are some you

can sort out by making some changes.

I hope I don't sound too overbearing but just to let you know that there is

someone out there who natural solutions have worked for, especially in terms

of yeast and stomach trouble.

Mia.

Mia:

I was reading your note on the list and you feel like I do. I am going through

a terrible battle with bladder infections right now and it's one antib. after

another. I'm caught in the traditional trap.

I lived by Crooks book and got myself rid of yeast a long time ago.

Although like you said, I didn't do it with harsh anti fungal.

After reading your note I think I'll try to find my way out of this with some

herbs.

Good note! Elaine
