Clyle no secret here, I put you onto a temporary moderation status. Please do not take this as a grave insult, it is a temporary situation I believe, just to make sure you can follow my simple requests and invitations for certain group standards.I think you need to, as the kids say, take a chill pill and settle down, please.Dr J>> > One more question for the day. I'm on neither side, but come on guys. Quit all the insults towards this doctor. You're filling up my inbox. We're supposed to be a "helping" group, not a "hating/insulting" group. That's the whole reason I joined, to get information on Misophonia and to somehow be of use to all of you if I could. Again, please settle down.

Yes, at this point I am wondering if this NFB is as effective for anger as the claims that have been made that it is. To: "Soundsensitivity " <Soundsensitivity > Sent: Sunday, August 5, 2012 11:39 PM Subject: Re: Re: Glitch or censorship?

Yeah. I have a question, what is NFB exactly? Cause I hear a lot about it in this group but I don't have a real clear understanding. To: "Soundsensitivity " <Soundsensitivity > Sent: Sunday, August 5, 2012 10:43 PM

I have over the years been told by many people that it's not what I say but how I say it. I think that in many situations I have come across as overly aggressive. In retrospect I think this condition made me very tired, edgy and anxious. This caused huge problems in every department of my life! I still see myself doing this but can remove myself now that I am semi retired. I can rest and relax, this helps. I still have huge problems with the triggers, that's the same, but just resting and taking a break has been great.Sent from my iPad

In the most conversational of tones and with no ill will, I say the sole reason those of us are posting about NFB is because our rage is gone, not lessened or controlled but eliminated. I have lived a rage free life even in the face of snapping gum for over 3 months and it's blissful. I have seen zero rage or anger in Clyle's post even after some serious accusations were leveled against him. I continue to be forever grateful to him for bringing NFB to the forefront. My daughter had her first proactive NFB session today to save off ADD (her dad) and Miso (me). And I'm absolutely giddy with delight for 's success, which is entirely owed to NFB. Sorry if this is controversial but I'm as happy as can be and want everyone to have all the info available to them to make their own informed choice and not be afraid of posting here (as numerous people have now privately said they are). With great joy and smiles,HeidiSent from my iPhone

Now that was funny!

I think perhaps we are about to reach an accord here. Hang onto your hats and realize that a lot of work is going on behind the scenes....

With so many people, it is hard to read everything, at least for me.

Remember there are always two sides to every story. Maybe three.

This is dominating the system right now and this is the reason why most on line support groups will insist that moderators be allowed to do their work and they will delete posts, etc. etc.

I can sort of see why, to a certain degree.

I trust in the overall good judgment of the entire group and hope that calm and cool will remain in the end.

Let us see.

MJ

ClyleThanks for the psychology tip.I feel the need to point out that there seems to me, there have been as you say misinterpretations of the intentions of Dr. made here, insinuations and jumping to conclusions instead of verifying about deletions of posts and such. But I don't care to get into rehashing all that.I would like to share that there have been lots of sock puppet shenanigans in the past here and still are actually, where inflammatory members needed to be deleted, (please note, I am not accusing you, I believe you are for real). But because of sock puppet stuff

of the past, I have a hard time telling who is for real or not, which is why I have really cut back on posting. Perhaps that history has also created extra caution on Dr. J's part, I don't know, I can't speak for her.

Welcome back, and glad to hear everything has been worked out now. To: Soundsensitivity Sent: Monday, August 6, 2012 12:21 PM Subject: Re: Glitch or censorship?

Hi folks … it's great to be back from my "vacation." Heidi … I agree 100%. If one were to look back thru all my posts, I speak to that several times that it was the first thing I noticed with Neurofeedback (NFB) … was that the rage, and the anger were gone. For those of you that thought any of my recent posts exhibited any anger, you greatly misconstrued my message. No need for apologies though as I totally understand that anger can actually manifest within oneself, and be released when misinterpreting the intentions of others. I am a very fortunate man that survived one of the deadliest cases of esophageal cancer at Mayo Clinic, and I have been 98% "relieved" of all Misophonia issues … how could I be upset? With all my prayers I promised God that If I were to live thru my cancer ordeal for my two children and my wife, that I would commit my life to helping others. I now spend a lot of time counseling cancer patients, in particular those with esophageal cancer, and feel it is another life's cause in helping to guide others in gaining relief from their Misophonia. Respectfully, Clyle

So, if you can tell me where your electrodes is being placed and what kind of waves are affecting, that would be great!

I appreciate any information from those who have tried NFB.

Thanks!
