Hi Dhriti,

All of those symptoms you mentioned can be present when there is systemic

candida yeast overgrowth. Unfortunately, many GFCF foods can contribute to this

problem. There are a number of supplements and diet changes that can help with

this issue. Has she been tested for candida?

Kind regards,

the therapy that is required, but its a struggle as we are unable to find

therapist even though we are ready to pay as India has a dearth of good ABA

Therapist. We do get Occupational & Speech Therapist though. She is already on

Gluten Free and Casein Free Diet.

Hi Dhriti,

The loss of balance would concern me as well.  Have you taken her to a

neurologist?  They will oftentimes request that your daughter have an MRI

and blood test done to rule out any other possible reasons for the loss of

balance?  My daughter is nearing 10, but when she was dx'd with autism at the

age of 2, she had some balance issues.  I work at a special ed. school, so I

wanted some autism disorders ruled out (Rhett Syndrome and Fragile X).   I

scheduled an appt. with a pediatric neurologist who did a brain MRI and blood

work up on my daughter to rule out other illnesses that could present symptoms

similiar to 'autism'.  My daughter had it all done at the same time --- while

she was under anesthesia (MRI and blood draw).

If you've had neurological and blood testing done on your daughter, and the

results came back 'unremarkable', then some possible therapeutic avenues you

could research for her would be:  NAET therapy, AIT therapy, and

chiropractic-neurology (sometimes this is termed cranial-sacral under

chiropractors).  I did all of these with my daughter, at an early age, and also

went regularly to a DAN dr. who prescribed supplement therapy.  I feel that

each therapeutic avenue I ventured into had a positive affect on my daughter.

There was no ONE thing that worked supremely better than any of the others, but

I did see the most improvement with chiropractic-neurology.  Each therapy

however, was, in a way, a puzzle piece, that helped my daughter progress much

more than any traditional drs. ever said she would.  There are yet still some

missing pieces to her puzzle, but she is so much  more aware, happy, less

anxious, social, and verbal than anyone (other than myself) ever imagined.

Hope this helps.  Best of luck to you.

Karmen
