Guest guest
Clyle no secret here, I put you onto a temporary moderation status. Please do not take this as a grave insult, it is a temporary situation I believe, just to make sure you can follow my simple requests and invitations for certain group standards. I think you need to, as the kids say, take a chill pill and settle down, please. Dr J > > > One more question for the day. Guest guest
CLYLE , P;EASE KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING BROTHER, WE NEED YOU ...YOU GAVE US HOPE WHEN THERE WAS NO HOPE.... I JUST CANT UNDERSTAND WHY DR. J WOULD EVEN FATHOM MONITORING YOU...NOTHING BUT GOOD HAS COME FROM YOUR POSTS// I WILL LEAVE IT AT THAT... Subject: Glitch or censorship? To: Soundsensitivity Date: Sunday, August 5, 2012, 5:00 PM One more question for the day. In the past when I have posted, my posts went thru immediately ... hit the "send" tab, and it appeared within 4 or 5 seconds. I now am getting the following, "Your message must be approved by the group owner before being sent to the group." Is this a temporary glitch, or am I being censored for some reason? Dr. J, as moderator and group owner, you previously made very strong statements that you do not delete or censor messages. That is a good thing so I will assume this is a glitch that will go away very quickly. None of my posts have ever included foul or offensive language, disparaged others, or stated any untruths ... so any censorship, which would include the above message in bold, which is censorship, would be totally unacceptable to me and I'm sure all others. I will look forward to this glitch being cleared up immediately, and I hope others are not encountering the same. Clyle
Guest guest
Now that was funny! I think perhaps we are about to reach an accord here. Hang onto your hats and realize that a lot of work is going on behind the scenes.... With so many people, it is hard to read everything, at least for me. Remember there are always two sides to every story. Maybe three. This is dominating the system right now and this is the reason why most on line support groups will insist that moderators be allowed to do their work and they will delete posts, etc. etc. I can sort of see why, to a certain degree. I trust in the overall good judgment of the entire group and hope that calm and cool will remain in the end. Let us see. Guest guest
Nice post and thank you. I can see why moderators might get grey hair. All is back to 'normal' now. Let us see how it goes. Do not mistake my words, I am not opposed to any treatment. I am hopeful that what we hear, here, will prove to be the fertile grounds from which therapies arise. There are 1000s of people here who read and do not post, some of these are very influential people in the world of auditory research, brain research, neurology, and psychology. It is hard to avoid difficult moments, but I am praying that this small storm will blow over now and we can proceed to sail off....into the place where arrived recently......and others, using other methods....that is where we are trying to go. Let us not poke holes in our own boat, ok? Dr J
Guest guest
Hi folks … it's great to be back from my "vacation." Heidi … I agree 100%. If one were to look back thru all my posts, I speak to that several times that it was the first thing I noticed with Neurofeedback (NFB) … was that the rage, and the anger were gone. For those of you that thought any of my recent posts exhibited any anger, you greatly misconstrued my message. No need for apologies though as I totally understand that anger can actually manifest within oneself, and be released when misinterpreting the intentions of others. I am a very fortunate man that survived one of the deadliest cases of esophageal cancer at Mayo Clinic, and I have been 98% "relieved" of all Misophonia issues … how could I be upset? With all my prayers I promised God that If I were to live thru my cancer ordeal for my two children and my wife, that I would commit my life to helping others. I now spend a lot of time counseling cancer patients, in particular those with esophageal cancer, and feel it is another life's cause in helping to guide others in gaining relief from their Misophonia. Respectfully, Clyle > > >> > > Yes, at this point I am wondering if this NFB is as effective for anger as the claims that have been made that it is.> > > > > > > > > >>
Guest guest
I live outside USA, and I'm around my 20th NFB session. It's been good so far, but my practitioner and I would like some tips or information you can shere to speed up the results. So, if you can tell me where your electrodes is being placed and what kind of waves are affecting, that would be great! I appreciate any information from those who have tried NFB. Thanks!
