Yes, this is absolutely very typical of misophonia. The sounds of letters such as t, p, and s are often triggers. These sounds along with chewing and smacking sounds are some of the most common triggers.

It all started when I was about 10yrs. old. I used to pray with my parents, and one day I just had this weird thing when words containing the letter "s" (and "c"'s sounding like "s") and "t really irritated me. Even the letter "j" when we said "Jesus" in unison.
